Farming Valley 0.9.8 released

This update adds one new building mod. But also adds some new achievements, and fixes some old ones. This update also removes ToughAsNails, as the mod was only used for extra hearts as i removed hydration a while back. And as cyclic already have extra hearts, that was just disabled, and i enabled those and removed ToughAsNails.

Old worlds SHOULD work. But make a backup of your world just in case. You may need to use the command: /flushAchievements, to get the new achievement fixes.

  • Added a extra tool tip to the coins, to tell players where they can be brought at.

Farming Valley – Lite (Releases 27-01-2020)

This modpack should be out tomorrow (27-01-2020)

This pack is a “Lite” version of my modpack “Farming Valley”. This version of the pack is a lot easier to run for older/not strong pc’s. However the main features from the main pack is still in. This Lite version, was under different test able to run with as little as 1 GB ram, and having atleast 100-150 MORE FPS than the main pack.

If you have a newer/stronger PC, then install “Farming Valley”, and i would recommend trying that pack out first to see how your pc run it. And if there is issues, then run this version of the pack instead.

This update adds a lot of stuff to the Shipment Box, so you can now sell even more stuff.

Fix for “Launching the game failed” error

Do you get a error when launching a modpack from the Twitch Minecraft App? That says something like:

” Failed to download file, the file contents differ from what was expected.

The issue have been reported to Curse/Twitch, but until they are fixing it. You can fix it yourself. Do the following:

1: Go to the link in the “URL” part. This should download the missing file.

2: Go to the file which is shown in the “path” part. Yours will be different then the one in the screenshot.

3: Now replace/place the file you downloaded at above location.

4: Start the modpack you want to play. It should now start normally.

21 Features I wish Mojang would add to Minecraft

Soul Sand = Life

I tryed (And Failed) to make the features i wish Mojang would add to vanilla Minecraft. This video maaaaaay contain a lot of Soul Sand. Because everyone knows that Soul Sand is the best 🙂 Hey, maybe they will add some of these features in the Nether update? A Wither can only hope.

Fix For Twitch Launcher Not Saving Resolution

Having trouble when using Twitch Launcher, that it does not save the window/scree resolution you have set? Then do the following:

  • Click on the windows button, and write %appdata% and open the appdata folder. This is where minecraft and twitch folder is usually found.
  • Now find Twitch folder
  • Now open the “MinecraftSettings.json” file.
    I like to play in 1920*1080, so i have changed it to the following:

“resolutionWidth”: 1920,
“resolutionHeight”: 1080
}

  • Hit, save. And restart the launcher. Now your game should start in 1920*1080 every time it loads the pack you play. (I also changed it in the Minecraft.settings, file. But doing it in json file only should be enough.

If it does not, you may need in the Twitch launcher to just once, change the resolution to what you want here too. BUUUT usually above solves the issue 🙂

Amnesia updated to 1.0.7

This update adds some QOL improvements. You can now search for keys, in the key settings. There is now a tombstone when you die. Which even have a new cool system. Check it out by pressing “O” ingame. I also made it so you spawn with the bed pet to begin with.

How Many Ticks Per Seconds

There is 20 ticks per second.

That means that 1 tick happens every 0.05 seconds.

Above info is used a lot when making recipes with CraftTweaker. As many machines needs to know how many ticks a machine should run for with x amount of power. Like for some GregTech machines you need to use:
.duration(40) .EUt(120)
Which then means that the machine will run for 40 ticks which is 2 seconds, and every tick it will use 120 EU, which is a total of 4800 EU.

Amnesia updated to 1.0.3

In this update now entities (Mobs/Animals) will also forget their texture. We also fixed some crashes and a world corruption issue.

WARNING: This update removes the framed chests from bibliocraft, because of a world corruption bug. So take your stuff out of those before you update, if you use those chest.

  • Removed Framed Chest from Bibliocraft as there was a corruption but with them. Thanks hweaver88 for reporting the bug
  • Disabled a flickering that would happen in the advancement book. As it could cause health problems. It is part of vanilla, but i was able to disable it. Thanks ItsJustTriz for reporting the issue.

Thanks to @ShockMicro for reporting a crash with charms, everytime a entity was killed. He sent me his world, which helped a lot in finding out where this crash was from.

– Changed death handling items to use LivingDeathEvent instead of trying to calculate if player would die in attack event. Fixes conflict of these items with health scaling effects like absorbtion where it previously incorrectly used their effects even when player would have survived.
